Ride to Provide is an annual charity bike event hosted by NFL Pro-Bowler, Lorenzo Alexander and Redskin Kedric Golston. Lorenzo, Kedric, current and former Redskin teammates – Ryan Kerrigan,  Antwaan Randle El, Logan Paulsen, Nick Sundberg, Chris Wilson, Kai Forbath – and media personalities –  EB & Cakes of The Sports Junkies from 106.7 The Fan and Mike Wise of ESPN will be joining our military heroes as well as hundreds of children and adults on the W&OD Railroad Regional Park Trail for a 10-53 mile scenic bike ride that begins and ends at Reston Town Center.  The bike ride heads west on the trail toward Leesburg through the beautiful, Virginia countryside.

The bike ride is a fun and challenging event that lets both children, parents and the recreational and avid cyclist raise money for Lorenzo’s ACES Foundation and Douglas J. Green Memorial Foundation. There are four different distances to ride: 10 miles, 20 miles, 35 miles and 53 miles.

Meet and mingle with NFL  players, our Wounded Warriors, and our media personalities during the post-ride celebration at Reston Town Center where you’ll enjoy music, food, and chances to win spectacular prizes and autographed items from NFL players and sponsors. So, bring your wallets for chances to purchase and win. All Riders will have the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets for spectacular prizes.  There will also be an autograph session with some of the NFL players!

Part of the 2016 Ride to Provide proceeds will support the Douglas J. Green Memorial Foundation.
The primary goal of Ride to Provide is to raise awareness and money to support youth programs across America.  All net proceeds from Ride to Provide will benefit the programs and serve the mission of Lorenzo Alexander’s ACES Foundation and the Douglas J. Green Memorial Foundation.
