Beginning today, new Choice Menu “Bistro on Board” fresh food options will be available for purchase in United Economy on flights within North America and to Latin America on most flights longer than three and half hours. New breakfast “Bistro on Board” selections include a morning energy selection of a hard-cooked egg, yogurt, granola, pineapple and grapes; BLT baguette; and berry and sweet cheese pastry. New lunch and dinner selections include an artisan cheese selection; Mediterranean-style salad; turkey and Swiss cranberry baguette; Cobb salad wrap; and a chicken and Swiss focaccia.
Vegetarian options are available and include the morning energy selection, berry and sweet cheese pastry, artisan cheese selection and Mediterranean-style salad. In addition, a bistro scramble – featuring scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, asparagus and Swiss cheese – and a lunch and dinner chicken penne pasta are available on flights between Hawaii and Chicago, Newark, Houston and Washington, D.C. Along with Bistro on Board, United continues to offer Choice Menu Snack Shop selections available for purchase all day in United Economy on most North America and Latin America flights scheduled for more than two hours.
